Im Alter bildet diese krautige sukkulente Pflanze einen verdickten und knolligen Stamm aus, der wie geschaffen f\u00fcr Bonsailiebhaber ist.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_658\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-658\" style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kaktusmichel.de\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-658 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.kaktusmichel.de\/Kaktusnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/Plectranthus-ernestii-Stamm.gif\" alt=\"Plectranthus ernestii, Stamm\" width=\"500\" height=\"667\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-658\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Plectranthus ernstii, Stamm<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Da sie entfernt auch mit Salbei und Minze verwandt ist, verwundert es nicht, das die Bl\u00e4tter einen starken Geruch absondern und deshalb auch als &#8220;Bonsai Minze&#8221; bezeichnet werden. Die Endgr\u00f6\u00dfe ist H\u00f6chstfall 50 cm , was aber durch R\u00fcckschnitte unterbunden werden kann. Plectranthus hat seinen Namen wegen der (angeblich?) bespornten Lippenbl\u00fcten, so bedeutet im griechischen plectron Sporn und anthos Blume.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_659\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-659\" style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kaktusmichel.de\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-659 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.kaktusmichel.de\/Kaktusnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/Plectranthus-ernestii-Bluete.gif\" alt=\"Blueten von Plectranthus ernestii\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-659\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Blueten von Plectranthus ernstii<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Diese Art wurde 1977 von Ernst van Jaarsveld entdeckt und bekam zu ehren dieses Botanikers den Zusatznamen ernestii. Die Heimat dieses Lippenbl\u00fctlers ist S\u00fcdafrika, Natal, am Rande des Oribi Gorge. Dort wachsen die Pflanzen auf sehr wasserdurchl\u00e4ssigen quarzitischen Sandsteinfelsen in den Schluchten des Msikaba River. In diesem Sommerregengebiet f\u00e4llt im Durchschnitt zwischen 800-1500 mm Niederschlag pro Jahr. Vergesellschaftet ist diese Sukkulente unter anderem\u00a0 mit Crassula perforata und Gasteria croucheri.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_660\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-660\" style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kaktusmichel.de\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-660 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.kaktusmichel.de\/Kaktusnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/Plectranthus-ernestii.gif\" alt=\"Plectranthus ernestii\" width=\"500\" height=\"667\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-660\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Plectranthus ernstii<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Die Pflege ist recht einfach, bei gen\u00fcgender Wassergabe, circa 1-2x die Woche, treiben schnell neue Bl\u00e4tter und Triebe aus. Diese sollten f\u00fcr einen sch\u00f6nen Habitus immer wieder eingek\u00fcrzt werden. Gie\u00dft man zu wenig erschlaffen die Bl\u00e4tter und fallen schlie\u00dflich ab, bei erneutem Gie\u00dfen treibt die Pflanze aber\u00a0 willig wieder aus (wenn man\/Frau nicht zu lange gewartet hat \ud83d\ude06 ).<br \/>\nSubstrat: Blumenerde mit einem Zusatz von Bims und Sand. Des \u00f6ftern D\u00fcngen und viel Licht sind Voraussetzung f\u00fcr gesundes Wachstum.<br \/>\nWeitervermehrung aus Samen oder Stecklingen.<br \/>\nPflanzen gibt es bei mir in der <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kaktusmichel.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">G\u00e4rtnerei<\/a>, der Versand ist wegen der leicht brechenden Triebe nicht oder nur sehr ungern m\u00f6glich.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Die heute vorgestellte Pflanze, Plectranthus ernstii, erinnert an einen Baobab in Miniformat.
