\n<\/span>Aloe arborescens<\/span> ist h\u00e4ufig in Malawi, Mosambik, Simbabwe und S\u00fcdafrika von Meeresh\u00f6he bis auf 2800 Metern anzutreffen.

\nSie w\u00e4chst in der Regel auf Felsh\u00e4ngen in Felsspalten aber auch im dichten Gestr\u00fcpp.
\nAloe arborescens bildet hohe St\u00e4mme aus, die bis \u00fcber 2 Meter hoch werden k\u00f6nnen.

\nDie rosettig angeordneten Bl\u00e4tter k\u00f6nnen 50 bis 60 cm lang werden und die R\u00e4nder sind mit nicht sehr harten zahnartigen Ausw\u00fcchsen besetzt.

\nIn der chinesischen Medizien wird sie wirkungsvoller als die bekanntere Aloe vera bezeichnet. Sie soll nach deren Studien sogar Krebstumore zum Stillstand bringen.
\nAuch in alten medizinischen Klosterb\u00fcchern wird seine immunst\u00e4rkende Heilkraft gepriesen.

\nAber Selbstversuche sollte man eher skeptisch entgegentreten.

Die Kultur ist recht einfach, wenn sie nicht zu nass oder zu trocken gehalten wird, hat sie ein recht rasches Wachstum. Substrat etwas humoser, um mehr Nahrung zu bieten. D\u00fcngung am besten alle 4 Wochen, wer auf rasches Wachstum Wert legt.
\nVermehrung am leichtesten aus Stecklingen, aber auch aus Samen.
\nSch\u00e4dlinge treten an vitalen Pflanzen kaum auf.
\nEine frostfreie \u00dcberwinterung ist angeraten. Temperaturen von 6 \u2013 8\u00b0 C werden gut \u00fcberstanden, dann aber nur alle 6 Wochen etwas gie\u00dfen.
