Wenn auch heute kaum die Sonne scheint, sind doch einige leuchtende Punkte in meinem Gew\u00e4chshaus zu sehen. Die gelben Bl\u00fcten der Matucana aureiflora sind schon sehr auffallend.<\/span><\/p>\n

Der botanische Name der Gattung Matucana kommt von der peruanische Stadt Matucana, die am Westhang der Anden-Kordilleren liegt, in deren N\u00e4he die ersten Pflanzen gefunden wurden. Das Artepitheton aureiflora kommt aus dem lateinischen aureiflorus `goldgelbbl\u00fctig\u2018.<\/span><\/p>\n

Die Heimat von Matucana aureiflora ist in der peruanischen Region Cajamarca.<\/span><\/p>\n

Die Erstbeschreibung erfolgte durch Friedrich Ritter 1965. Synonyme sind Submatucana aureiflorus (F.Ritter) Backeb. (1966) und Borzicactus aureiflorus (F.Ritter) Donald (1971).<\/span>
\nFr\u00fcher wurde f\u00fcr diese Art der Begriff Submatucana verwendet da sie behaarte Bl\u00fctenr\u00f6hren vorweist was bei der `normalen` Matucana nicht der Fall ist. Aber zwischenzeitlich wird es nicht mehr als so abweichend eingestuft das man Submatucana wieder mit Matucana zusammenlegte.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ein sonniger Platz sollte f\u00fcr diesen Kaktus ausgesucht werden es kann auch ruhig im Gew\u00e4chshaus auf einem h\u00f6heren Bord sein. Aber bei gro\u00dfer Hitze und Lufttrockenheit sollte man die Pflanzen sich \u00f6fters genau betrachten, da sie anf\u00e4llig f\u00fcr die rote Spinnmilbe ist. Der auch als rote Spinne bezeichnete Sch\u00e4dling, zerst\u00f6rt die Epidermis dieser Sukkulente sehr schnell, was nicht nur der Sch\u00f6nheit dieser Kakteen schadet, sondern auch die Pflanze zum absterben bringen kann.<\/span><\/p>\n

Weitervermehrung durch Samen. Wer selber Samen ernten will, sollte die Samenkapsel vorsichtig entfernen da die Fr\u00fcchte seitlich aufreisen und so schnell die Samen auf nimmer wiedersehen verschwinden.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
