Graptopetalum macdougallii, auch als blaue Felsenrose bezeichnet, ein leicht zu kultivierendes Dickblattgew\u00e4chs (Crassulaceae) aus Mexiko. Dieses Sukkulent ist sehr gut f\u00fcr die Zimmerkultur geeignet oder im Sommer als Ampelpflanze f\u00fcr die Terrasse zu empfehlen.
\n<\/em><\/span>
\n Der Gattungsname, aufgestellt 1911 von Joseph Nelson Rose, bedeutet nach dem griechischen ‘graptos’ f\u00fcr markieren und dem Wort ‘petalon’ f\u00fcr Bl\u00fctenblatt, soviel wie gepunktetes Bl\u00fctenblatt.<\/span>
\n Die vorgestellte Art wurde 1940 von Edward Johnston Alexander beschrieben und zu Ehren von T. Macdougall benannt.<\/span>
\n Die Pflanzen haben eine \u00c4hnlichkeit mit Echeveria, aber die Bl\u00fctenst\u00e4nde sind zym\u00f6s aufgebaut, dies bedeutet der Bl\u00fctenstand verzweigt sich und tr\u00e4gt an jedem Ende eine Bl\u00fcte, die Einzelbl\u00fcte ist sternf\u00f6rmig, f\u00fcnfz\u00e4hlige, wei\u00df-gelblich mit gr\u00f6\u00dferen und kleineren roten Flecken und Punkten. An den Bl\u00fctenrispen \u00f6ffnen sich \u00fcber einen l\u00e4ngeren Zeitraum immer wieder neue Bl\u00fcten.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Bl\u00e4tter lanzettlich, fleischig, hellgr\u00fcn, leicht grau \u00fcberhaucht und rosettenf\u00f6rmig angeordnet. Es werden oberfl\u00e4chliche Ausl\u00e4ufer gebildet die sich sehr gut zur Vermehrung eignen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Kultur und Pflege:<\/em><\/span>
\nEin heller und sonniger Standort ist notwendig, damit ein gedrungenes Wachstum erhalten bleibt. Nur bei Stecklingen bis zur Bewurzelung einen halbschattigen Standplatz w\u00e4hlen. An das Substrat werden keine besonderen Anspr\u00fcche gestellt, es eignet sich Kakteenerde<\/a> oder auch Blumenerde mit etwas Sand. Sie vertragen im Winter Temperaturen bis 6 \u00b0C. \u00dcber die Vegetationszeit nicht zu trocken halten. Ein Zeichen von zu wenig Wasser ist es, wenn zu viele Bl\u00e4tter von unten her eintrocknen, dann muss mehr gegossen werden. Die Pflanzen sind ideal f\u00fcr H\u00e4nget\u00f6pfe<\/a>,
\nda sie viele Ausl\u00e4ufer treiben und dann sch\u00f6n herunterh\u00e4ngen.<\/span>
