Ein Freund von mir konnte berichten seine Whitesloanea hat das erstemal gebl\u00fcht.
\nSelbst ausges\u00e4t und dann noch zur Bl\u00fcte gebracht, das ist schon mehr als beachtlich. Nicht sehr vielen Z\u00fcchtern gelingt das auf Anhieb. Deshalb m\u00f6chte ich die Pflanze auch gerne vorstellen.
\nDie Pflanze geh\u00f6rt zu den Asclepiadaceae\u00a0 die auch wegen des Geruchs der Bl\u00fcten als Aasblumen bezeichnet werden. Die Gattungen ist zu Ehren von Alain Campbell White und Boyd Lincoln Sloane, zwei amerikanische Botaniker benannt.<\/span> Im Somaliland w\u00e4chst sie im Schotter und im Halbschatten. Bei einem Durchmesser der Pflanze von 2-3 cm\u00a0 und einer H\u00f6he von 3-13 cm und dazu noch in gro\u00dfen Abstand zur n\u00e4chsten Population wird sie in der Natur nicht leicht gefunden. Manche vermuten das sie am Standort schon fast ausgestorben ist.

Die Aussaat der Pflanzen ist nicht sehr kompliziert da die Keimrate recht gut ist. Nur zur Weiterkultur der Pflanzen braucht es schon etwas Fingerspitzengef\u00fchl, damit man die Pfleglinge auch bis zur Bl\u00fcte weiterbringt. Die Kultur gelingt in bimshaltigem Substrat mit etwas Lehmzusatz und nicht unter 15 Grad Raumtemperatur bei sonnigen bis halbschattigem Standort.<\/p>\n
